Sima Solaimanzadeh, MD
Dr. Sima Solaimanzadeh is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with special interest in the treatment of headaches as well as Electrodiagnostic Medicine (EMG – Nerve Conduction Study) and Musculoskeletal Medicine. Her vision at the New Jersey Headache Institute is to focus on the underlying root causes of headaches, which will lead to proper treatment of the headaches and provide lasting relief for her patients. Dr. Solaimanzadeh received her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Yeshiva University, Stern College for Women in New York. She graduated with her medical degree from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. She completed her internship in internal medicine at St.Vincent Catholic Medical Center in Staten Island, and completed her residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School – JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute in Edison, New Jersey. Dr. Solaimanzadeh is a member of several professional societies including the Association of Academic Physiatrists, the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Her interests include spending time with her family, traveling and cooking.
